The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications through accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers. This role supports both clinical and operational pharmacy functions, contributing to high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
+ Counsel patients on medication usage and safety.
+ Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
+ Support clinical and operational pharmacy functions.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Essential Skills
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht).
+ Proficiency in prior authorization procedures.
+ Strong data entry skills.
+ Excellent customer service abilities.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
+ 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist.
+ Experience with ACHC accreditation preferred.
+ Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred.
+ Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite in a closed-door specialty pharmacy located in Delray Beach, FL. The shift is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The pharmacy team is small, fostering a family-like atmosphere with opportunities to transition to a permanent role. Dress code is business casual.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $65.00/hr.
