Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual trained in electronic assembly of switches for sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. The role involves working with small parts, requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity. The ideal candidate will be proficient with hand tools to build component parts and gather necessary materials. Responsibilities include placing components onto PC boards and working with small precision hand tools.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble electronic switches using hand tools.Handle small parts with precision and care.Gather materials for assembly.Place components onto PC boards.Work independently at a designated station.Pay close attention to detail while seated or standing throughout the day.Train on ultrasound lines, focusing on mechanical assembly at a conveyor belt.Follow work orders for assembling ultrasound parts.Essential SkillsProficiency in electronic assembly.Experience with soldering and using hand tools.Good hand-eye dexterity.Ability to stand for long periods.Additional Skills & QualificationsSolder certification is a plus.Experience with pick and place equipment can adjust pay rate.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is laid-back yet results-oriented, fostering a culture where employees are trusted to know their tasks and perform them efficiently. The manufacturing setting includes long rows with five work stations each, and candidates will undergo temperature checks upon arrival and towards the end of their shift. Multiple shift options are available, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with varying start times to accommodate different schedules. Expect to work 50-60 hours a week with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Cook, Illinois.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.Pay and Benefits
