Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate shipments to customers by performing distribution order picking, stocking, packaging, and other material handling and inventory control tasks. This position requires flexibility and the willingness to work in various environments within the warehouse operations, as well as the ability to learn, perform, and train others in advanced warehouse responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesPackage and palletize orders.Load and unload trucks.Process stock transfers and material requests.Replenish production and warehouse as directed.Timely process physical and ERP goods movements and receipts, including documentation and physical condition verification.Assist in timely returns processing.Support cycle counting activities.Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts.Label orders for shipment including dangerous goods, international, and carrier paperwork and/or labels.Complete verifications of items picked for accuracy and condition.Generate work orders and sales orders from ERP.Assist in orientation and cross-training of Warehouse Associates.Assist Warehouse Associates in troubleshooting issues, escalating to warehouse leadership appropriately.Essential SkillsProficiency in order picking, packaging, kitting, and inventory control.Experience using RF scanners and pallet jacks.Capability to handle material, stock, ship, and receive goods.Strong attention to detail for labeling and documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertifications for handling dangerous goods and international shipments.Experience in generating work and sales orders from ERP systems.Ability to train and support Warehouse Associates.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position involves working in a combination of warehouse and manufacturing settings. Exposure to various temperatures, fumes, and loud noises is possible, especially on the manufacturing floor. Employees must adhere to company safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required.
