Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency. The role involves working with pumps, compressors, pipes, piping, and boilers, performing preventative maintenance, and fabricating and welding tasks. You will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any equipment issues to management.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, including pumps, compressors, pipes, piping, and boilers.Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and inspect mechanical equipment.Identify potential issues and take corrective actions on mechanical equipment.Responsible for fabrication and welding tasks.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report equipment issues to management.Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings.Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, associated fittings, valves, boilers, and cooling towers.Work with various types of pumps, including double diaphragm, gear, and trash pumps.Maintain and repair gearboxes and agitators.Work in confined spaces at heights and on systems containing hazardous materials.

Essential Skills

Experience in maintenance technician roles.Proficient in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings.Experience in mechanical troubleshooting, machine repair, and handling electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Capability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and on systems containing hazardous materials.On-call availability after a six-month period, with rotating weekly on-call duties.

Work Environment

The role operates on a standard 8-5, Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Work may involve confined spaces, heights, and handling hazardous materials. The position requires flexibility to respond quickly to urgent situations, with on-call duties rotating weekly among technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
