AmergisHealthcare is hiring Physical Therapist to support a Psych Hospital. 

 

Details

Setting: Psych Hospital Location: Anaheim Schedule: AMs, 8AM-5PM full time, 5 days a week (13 week contract) Pay: $50-$70/hour (based on experience)- Weekly pay

 

PTEssential Responsibilities:

Patient Evaluation: Consult with patients to assess physical condition and symptoms. Review medical history and physician referrals. Diagnose movement dysfunction through observation and testing. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Set measurable goals and track progress. Therapeutic Interventions: Guide patients through exercises and stretches. Use manual therapy techniques (e.g., massage, joint mobilization). Apply modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or heat/cold therapy. Patient Education: Teach patients and families about home exercises and recovery expectations. Provide guidance on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications. Documentation & Coordination: Maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

PT Qualifications:

Licensure: Must be licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC).  New Grads eligible
