**Job Description:** The HIM Systems Analyst conceptualizes, designs, implements, supports and maintains assigned business system processes and workflows. Implements, maintains and supports HIM standards, to meet the business needs of Intermountain Heath, drives identification of system workflow requirements for document management. Identifies areas of improvements and processes through data analysis and designs innovative solutions. Typically designs and develops approaches that are implemented by others. **Essential Functions** + Works collaboratively with cross functional teams including Medical Group Clinics and other outpatient clinic departments on the education, implementation, and management of HIM standards within the clinic setting. + Provides training and auditing of HIM standards and related HIM functions. + Provides reporting and feedback to clinics regarding HIM standards and reports back to clinic leadership. Education is verified. + RHIT/RHIA Certification preferred. + Demonstrated experience with technical HIM or HIM Information Management required. + Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office required. + Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Availability to travel is required. **Physical Requirements:** **Physical Requirements** + Sitting for long periods of time. + Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
