Sacramento Country Day School, the leading independent school in Sacramento and throughout the region, seeks a High School History Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time position with 100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision premiums (for employee only) beginning August 16, 2025. The annual salary range is $52,000 - $95,000, depending on education and experience. Serving around 590 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, Country Day’s mission is to “inspire intellectual discovery and engage a diverse community to think critically, live creatively, and act compassionately.” Located in the capital of California, and roughly equidistant between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, Sacramento is often cited as one of the country’s most diverse and inclusive cities. Position Summary This position includes teaching World History (for 9th grade students), U.S. History, and AP U.S. History, as well as other electives.
