**Description** **POSITION:** TEAM LEAD- HIDES TAKE UP **DEPARTMENT:** Rendering HIDES **LOCATION:** Souderton, PA Job requirements + Pull (75- 80 lb.) hides with hook from raceways and hook hides onto power rail + When raceway empties, pull remaining hides from raceway base + Grading and folding of fleshed hides + Stacking hides on pallets + Trimming of Hides as required + Maintain / Clean up work area throughout the day + Required to rotate among other take-up positions to prevent fatigue Qualifications + Trained in knife safety + Physically demanding position- requires stamina to perform job tasks Additional Team Lead Responsibilities + Assist the supervisor in managing 10 employees + Must be trained and qualified on all duties of the forklift operator and bobcat loader + Take daily inventory of warehouse at end of shift, to ensure the count is accurate with what was produced and what was shipped out + Daily salometer readings; readings will be conducted each morning **and** after salt is added to ensure the salt concentration is within correct parameters for proper hide curing. Readings will be documented on a daily log sheet + Perform pallet inspections + Fill in on the line when necessary to ensure proper crewing + Team Leads will be required to start earlier when equipment needs to be started to ensure functionality before start of shift + Assist supervisor in any other issues that may arise JBS is an equal opportunity employer **“EEO/ Vets/Disability”**
