Are you passionate about helping others succeed while ensuring high standards in healthcare staffing? Preferred Home Care of New York is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HHA Onboarding Specialist to lead the onboarding experience for our newest Home Health Aides (HHAs).
In this vital role, you’ll manage and coordinate all administrative tasks related to orientation, training, and personnel compliance—making sure our commitment to exceptional patient care starts with a strong, well-prepared team.
What You’ll DoAssist applicants in completing their online applications
Manage and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) throughout the hiring process
Collect and verify all required documentation for compliance
Schedule, confirm, and conduct orientations for new HHAs
Ensure personnel records meet all NYS Department of Health requirements
Collaborate across departments to support smooth onboarding
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
What You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who is highly organized, service-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Required Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or higher
Previous HR or healthcare experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HHA Exchange, and related software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations and employment compliance laws
Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish/English
A valid driver’s license and access to a car is preferred
