Hemoncology Market Research Analyst
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a 9 month contract, possible extensions, Hematology-Oncology Market Research Analyst with a strong background in the life sciences industry, particularly within commercial operations. The Hematology‑Oncology Market Research Analyst supports strategic decision‑making by generating insights on the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market dynamics within the hem/onc therapeutic area. This role works closely with cross‑functional partners and external vendors to ensure timely, high‑quality research execution and clear, actionable deliverables. Key Responsibilities Project & Vendor Management – 50%  • Lead day‑to‑day execution of qualitative and quantitative market research projects within the hematology‑oncology space.  • Manage external research vendors, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, methodology, and budget.  • Coordinate project update calls, track progress, and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.  • Maintain documentation, project trackers, and status reports to ensure consistent communication with internal stakeholders. Presentation Development – 15%  • Develop clear, visually engaging presentation content summarizing key insights, research findings, and recommendations for internal teams.  • Synthesize complex data into simple, concise narratives tailored for commercial, medical, and leadership audiences.  • Support the creation of slides for readouts, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions. Administrative & Operational Support – 15%  • Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining project calendars, and organizing documentation.  • Support budget tracking, vendor invoicing, and internal compliance processes for market research activities.  • Help manage internal SharePoint/Teams folders, deliverable libraries, and research archives. Cross‑Functional Coordination – 10%  • Participate in calls with cross‑functional partners including Commercial, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Competitive Intelligence, and Analytics.  • Support alignment between research learnings and broader organizational initiatives. Skills and Requirements Must Haves  • 7-10 years of professional experience as a Pharma Market Research Analyst  • Hem‑Onc or Hematology/Oncology- the medical field that treats cancers and diseases of the blood.  • Compliance and logistics organizational experience   ○ Ability to easily pick up working with multiple tools like Sharepoint, Excel, etc.  • Strong presentation skills   ○ Ability to take a 100 page deck and show the 2 most important slides  • Quant and qual experience   ○ Quantitative (Quant) = Numbers   This is the part of the job where you work with data and statistics to understand the market.   Examples:    • Running surveys    • Analyzing prescribing trends    • Forecasting how many patients will use a drug    • Looking at charts, numbers, spreadsheets   Think: measuring things.   ○ Qualitative (Qual) = Conversations   This is the part of the job where you get deep insights from people.   Examples:    • Interviewing doctors or patients    • Running focus groups    • Asking people why they choose certain treatments    • Understanding beliefs, motivations, and emotions   Think: understanding the “why” behind the numbers Bachelor's degree
