Overview
Essential Job Duties
Assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues.Installs, upgrades, and maintains desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems.Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system; tracks trends andrecommends corrective actions; and ensures compliance with applicable security and property accountability requirements.Interfaces with Network Operations team on integration issues and product research andinstallation testing.Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required.Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation.DoD 8570.01 IAT level I (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) compliant or higher3-5 years experience working as an IT help desk technician.
Preferred Qualifications
Active SECRET clearance.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Work Environment
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
