Job Title: Product Support RepresentativeJob Description The Product Support Representative provides crucial support to the sales and marketing departments by addressing territory service needs and generating sales leads. This role involves offering technical support and training to customers during prime product installations. It requires assisting in the development and upkeep of technical publications libraries while traveling across territories to promote and sell prime product parts, services, and related products. Responsibilities + Provide customers with on-site technical support and training for prime product installations. + Assist in the development and maintenance of technical publications libraries. + Travel throughout territories to call on and sell prime product parts, service, and related products. + Assist in executing sales plans, including cold calling and site visits. + Act as a liaison between functional departments and customers for service repairs, modifications, parts returns, and warranty issues. + Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and collaborate with the accounting department on required paperwork. + Prepare reports of business transactions, trip reports, and monitor expense accounts. Essential Skills + Experience as a Maintenance Technician on Heavy Equipment such as Water Tanks, Spray Systems, Haulage Equipment, Dump Trailers, and modifications for OEM Trucks like CAT and Komatsu. + 2+ years of experience in maintenance for those with an AA degree. + 5+ years of experience for those without a degree. + 1+ years of experience in the mining industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + An AA degree is preferred. + 1+ years of sales experience is a plus. Work Environment The work schedule is flexible, with potential hours from 8-4 or 9-5. The dress code is business casual in the field and business professional when interacting with clients.
