**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** Join a reputable and established contractor based in Colorado Springs, specializing in utility construction. We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator with extensive experience to be a part of our dynamic team. **Responsibilities** + Operate a variety of heavy equipment including loaders and excavators. + Perform general labor tasks associated with construction and equipment operation. + Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment such as 624 loaders and 470 excavators. + Collaborate with a unified team to handle both dirt and utility tasks without separation into different crews. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6,240 hours (3 years) of experience operating loaders and excavators. + Proficiency with equipment such as Hitachi, Cat, Komatsu, and Caterpillar. + Ability to work effectively with heavy equipment in a construction environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with various construction equipment brands including Komatsu and Hitachi. + Experience with equipment that does not have a 2D GPS system is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a family-owned business with a legacy spanning over 75 years.
