Heavy Equipment Operator

At LCRA, we are looking for an Equipment Operator to join our FPP operations team! In this role you will utilize your expertise and enhance skillsets to support power plant operations. You will be trusted to:

- Assist in the operation of equipment as assigned for power plant operations. Operate equipment such as a vacuum truck, excavator, backhoe, tractor/shredder, skid steer etc.
- Maintain equipment. Inspect, clean, adjust, lubricate, and make minor adjustments and repairs on the equipment or, may make arrangements for major repairs and overhaul as needed.
- Participate in training to gain greater knowledge of procedures, tools and equipment operation pertinent to assigned work area.
- Assist in operation of hydraulic cranes and bridges cranes for the loading and unloading of material.
- Assist and/or direct lower level employees (such as helpers and temporary workers) in the practice of safe and proper use of tools and equipment.


You qualify with:

- Two or more years of experience in operating large equipment, such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, farm equipment or other construction-related machinery or other relevant experience.    

You are a great fit with:

Class A Texas commercial driver's license
