Description
This Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for:
- Operate Heavy Equipment including Loaders and Excavators in a production, quarry environment.
- Load 200 trucks per shift and make sure the loaded at the correct weight per contract.
- Move material around the yard in an efficient way.
- Perform regular safety inspections of equipment.
Operate heavy equipment:
- CAT E960, CAT 980, CAT 490, CAT 350
- Skid steers, loaders, sweepers, Bobcats, water trucks
- Assist with general yard work and maintenance
- Maintain equipment and perform basic inspections
- Adapt quickly to changing tasks and yard locations
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience operating Heavy Equipment (backhoes, dozers, cranes, loaders, trucks, etc.).
• Experience performing basic maintenance and safety inspections on machinery.
• Ability to operate equipment in fast-paced environment.
• Possess a strong knowledge of individual equipment design and safety requirements.
• Exhibit a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and a high level of safety consciousness.
• Ability to communicate equipment issues and direct others on job assignments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
