Join **Waste Connections** as a **Heavy Equipment Operator** at our Landfill in Angleton, TX named Seabreeze Landfill. Respect for ourselves grows through all the hard work and great service we provide to the communities we are privileged to serve. **🛠️ Job Duties:** + Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor + Spreading daily cover using a Dozer + Excavating soil using an excavator + Maintaining haul roads using a grader + Hauling soil + Work in a fast paced, team environment + Follow safe operating practices + Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: + Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds. + The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
