BUSINESS UNIT:  TERMINALS 

Kinder Morgan is the largest independent terminal operator in North America, providing a strong, reliable network of 144 terminals serving our customers’ storage, distribution, blending and logistical needs.  Our terminals store and handle renewable fuels, petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils and other products. We have a combined liquids storage capacity of approximately 151 million barrels and handle about 59 million tons of dry bulk materials annually.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and also but not limited to:  heights in excess of 5 feet, moving mechanical parts, moving on track rail equipment, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, uneven terrain and high noise level in the work environmentRequired to stand, walk and climb for extended periods of timeCommunicate with supervision and co-workers via radio and hand signalsMust wear FRC clothingRegularly lift and /or move a minimum of 50 poundsMust be able to work in dusty environment

EDUCATION: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

EXPERIENCE/SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: 

Must possess understanding of bulk handling operations/equipmentStrong ability to diagnose and maintain heavy equipment (D9 & D10 Dozers, Front End Loader, Excavator, Tele handler, etc.)Operation/Repair of A/CTrouble shooting hydraulic and pneumatic repair on heavy equipment
