We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic (Shop Technician) to join a fast-growing, tight-knit team that values autonomy, collaboration, and technical excellence. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on lift and material handling equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems using schematics, diagnostic software, and technical manuals
Completing accurate documentation using digital work order systems
Supporting shop cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
Occasionally assisting with field service work as needed, based on trust and availability
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
3–5+ years of experience as a heavy-duty or equipment mechanic, preferably in a shop environment
Diesel and hydraulic experience, and the ability to read and interpret schematics (hydraulic and electrical)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and independently
A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to grow with a company
Your own set of heavy-duty tools
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
Previous exposure to civil/construction equipment or the rental industry is a strong asset
Experience with JLG, Genie, Skyjack, or OEM inspection certifications is a plus
