**Heat Treat Operator | $31/hr | Direct Hire** **MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS AND OVERTIME** **Job Description** As a Forge Heat Treat Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the production process by using robotic cranes to load and unload steel, performing heat treatments on aluminum and titanium steel parts, and operating equipment designed for lifting substantial weights. This position requires flexibility to work across all shifts in a unionized environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate robotic cranes to load and unload steel to and from the forge. + Perform heat treating on aluminum and titanium steel parts. + Operate equipment that handles up to 200 lbs of steel. + Tend presses and forging machines for hot or cold forging by flattening, straightening, or bending metal. + Identify and manage processing sequences and furnace temperatures. + Operate heavy industrial machinery. + Conduct dye checks of forgings and ensure quality standards are met. + Examine raw materials to verify quality for forging. **Why Work Here?** Join a stable and growing company that values its employees by offering a competitive supplementary pay plan, including shift differentials and a 401k match up to 9%.
