Talent Acquisition Recruiter

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support high‑volume hiring needs across multiple departments.

This role manages the full life-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.

The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and can independently manage a large requisition load while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Location: Remote (with restrictions)

Primary Worksite for Monthly Travel: Peekskill, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (35-hour work week)

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Management

Execute full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of open requisitions.Source, screen, qualify, and interview candidates across various disciplines.Guide candidates through each stage of the process while maintaining timely communication.Prepare and extend competitive, compliant offers.Develop and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.

Hiring Manager & Internal Partner Collaboration

Build consultative relationships with hiring managers.Partner with leaders to understand role requirements, competencies, and success profiles.Facilitate hiring manager interviews, debriefs, and selection decisions.Coach managers on interview techniques and compliant hiring processes.Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a seamless handoff post‑offer.

Systems, Reporting & Compliance

Maintain daily updates within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Manage requisitions, job postings, internal transfers, and third-party postings.Ensure adherence to all corporate hiring policies and local/state/federal regulations.Produce accurate recruiting reports and assist in optimizing recruiting metrics.

Sourcing & Strategy

Utilize diverse sourcing channels for both active and passive candidates.Research and recommend new recruitment tools and strategies.Network through industry groups, events, associations, and referrals.Support the creation of recruiting materials and job advertisements.

Additional Responsibilities

Assist with HR-related tasks including compliance, compensation reviews, and process improvement projects.Support recruitment events and career fairs as scheduled.Required Qualifications3+ years of recruitment experienceBachelor’s degreeExperience managing high-volume recruitingProficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platformsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience delivering full-cycle recruitment supportPreferred QualificationsExperience in human resources or talent acquisition functionsStrong sourcing capabilities and pipeline-building experienceKnowledge of compliant hiring practicesExperience preparing offer letters and recruiting materialsWork Environment & Travel RequirementsRemote role with defined restrictions.Standard work hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (35 hours/week).Required monthly travel to the Peekskill, NY office.Additional travel to career fairs may occur 1–2 times per month, depending on seasonal hiring needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Peekskill, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $45.67/hr.
