Healthcare Portfolio Manager - Associate

This role will sit on our Specialized Industries – Healthcare team to work as a key member of deal teams that provide research, analysis, and underwriting to prepare recommendations to extend credit and monitor existing credit relationships. In this role, you will:

Manage a complex credit portfolio of client relationships in Healthcare Portfolio Management within Commercial BankingResearch complex financial and credit information for healthcare companies according to business unit standardsConduct due diligence, credit analysis, industry and business risk analysis, and financial modeling and projections in support of decision-making activities of loan underwriting, origination and structuring for Middle Market and Mid-Corporate sized healthcare companiesPresent recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand credit needs and represents the bank in developing and maintaining and growing client relationshipsManage portfolio monitoring, renewals, and annual reviewsProvide guidance to and assist with development of junior team members


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Underwriting experience including advanced commercial or specialty group relationship portfolio credit and leveraged creditsExperience in originating, structuring, and executing bank lending transactions and other credit related products, for critical or complex clientsKnowledge and understanding of risk management and complex credit executions related to acquisition financing and bridge underwritingStrong analytical skills including analyzing complex dataAbility to perform in depth commercial financial statement analysisKnowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital marketsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modelingExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including ability to present to decision makers and customers in a professional and confident mannerExperience with nCinoA BS/BA degree or higher
