Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 2 days per week in the Boston, MA Pulse Point office location, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Data Warehouse Analyst position reports to the Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting and will utilize internal and external data to produce reports. The ideal candidate will have expertise in spec development, coding, quality checking, validating, analyzing, and visualizing data that drives results, encourages strategic decision making, improves quality outcomes, and provides answers to population health questions. 


How you will make an impact: 

Analyzes business user needs, documents information requirements, facilitates the identification of potential gaps in available data and collaborates with business areas to determine best means for acquiring the data needed.

Programs and writes queries and reports using SQL code in an Oracle environment. 

Establishes knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues. 

Provides analytical services for business data needs and makes recommendations for viable solutions. 

Effectively communicates and collaborates with customers to elicit, capture, develop, and implement requirements. 

Ensures production reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Maintains information policies and procedures to support current and future data information needs and ensures proper data definitions, ownership, use and integrity of data.

Provides timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects. 

Addresses data integrity issues as they arise. 

Displays a positive, constructive, and helpful demeanor to assist team members and offer suggestions that improve processes, culture or working environment.

Collaborates with IT resources on the creation and maintenance of the content of the data warehouse, establishes and maintains general knowledge of data warehouse data structure design, definitions, capabilities, SQL, and data integrity issues, completes metadata assessment and reviews feedback to determine changes, ensures that data definitions are clear and current, and communicates changes to data definitions to all users.

Collaborates with IT resources and data owners to define business objectives and definitions for databases including business rules, sources, purge archive criteria, and reload schedule.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a BA/BS degree in related field and a minimum of 1 year experience in data analysis, data modeling, and working with automated data warehouse systems; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: 

2+ years experience in Healthcare Domain strongly preferred. 

2+ years Oracle & SQL queries, scripts experience strongly preferred.
