Using your administrative and clerical skills, you will ensure the efficient operational flow, allowing your fellow caregivers to continue providing optimal medical support. **A caregiver in this position works PRN variable shifts from 7:00 a.m. - 11 p.m. with a weekend and holiday rotation requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Conduct an in-person greeting, welcome and orientation to the unit for newly admitted and transferred patients. + Respond to patient call lights and make rounds. + Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. + Assist patients and families with wayfinding and direct them to available resources. + Assemble and maintain patient medical records and other documents related to patient care. + Assist with unit clerical functions and in trouble-shooting equipment failures, such as call system, portable phones, WOWs and other unit devices. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma or GED + One year of experience in a customer service-related role + Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + College degree + Microsoft Office experience **Physical Requirements:** + Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. + Requires frequent data entry, standing and walking for extensive periods of time. + Requires normal or corrected speech, hearing and vision. + Requires some exposure to communicable disease or body fluids. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. **Pay Range** Minimum hourly: $20.75 Maximum hourly: $20.75 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
