Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Manager - Supervision to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive health and safety programs across our organization. You will lead a team of safety professionals to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards, fostering a culture of safety excellence.

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with UAE regulations and international best practicesSupervise and mentor a team of health and safety professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily activitiesConduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actionsLead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and develop preventive measures to mitigate future risksDesign and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organizationCollaborate with department heads and project managers to integrate safety practices into all aspects of operationsMonitor and ensure compliance with OSHA standards, local labor laws, and company safety policiesPrepare and present comprehensive safety reports to senior management, including key performance indicators and improvement recommendationsStay updated on industry trends, emerging safety technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance the organization's safety programsManage the health and safety budget, including resource allocation and cost-effective solutions

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related fieldProfessional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)Minimum of 15 years of experience in health and safety management, with a proven track record in a supervisory roleIn-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, health and safety regulations, and international safety standardsStrong understanding of OSHA standards and compliance requirementsDemonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive safety programsExcellent risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis skillsProficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office suiteOutstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring safety teamsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingExperience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferredFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
