What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Proven expertise in HSE management within heavy civil construction, with at least 5 years of experience in a safety leadership role or 7+ years in supervisory/managerial positions without a degree Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations, and experience managing safety programs on projects exceeding $25 million Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver training materials and conduct comprehensive safety audits Ability to conduct incident investigations, perform site observations, and oversee safety compliance for diverse teams and subcontractors Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight or long distances to various field sites in Stafford, Virginia, and surrounding areas

Nice to Have Skills:

HSE or safety certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA trainer certifications Experience managing safety on projects involving complex activities like excavations, crane operations, and scaffoldings Familiarity with risk management techniques and innovative safety solutions Prior experience operating company vehicles

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred Hands-on experience managing safety programs across multiple large-scale civil projects

Additional Requirements:
