Free parking on site and more! Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health & safety programs compliant with Canadian regulations (OH&S, WorkSafeBC, etc.). Conduct inspections & risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions. Lead safety training (WHMIS, PPE, emergency procedures) and promote a strong safety culture. Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures. Ensure compliance with all reporting and documentation requirements. Manage emergency preparedness (drills, first aid, equipment checks). Collaborate with teams to continuously improve safety performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or related field Certifications (Preferred): CRSP, JHSC, or CSSE designation, First Aid/CPR certified Safety software (Intelex, Cority) MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Incident reporting tools 2+ years in health & safety Risk assessments & inspections Safety training delivery Strong communication Analytical problem-solving Detail-oriented Employment Details Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Location: Northeast Calgary, Alberta Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Interested in Health & Safety Coordinator role in Northeast Calgary, Alberta?
