**Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems’ Strategic Customer Group** has created a commercial team deployed against the nation’s largest, most influential Payors/PBMs/Health Systems. The J&J IM Health IT Specialist will support and educate targeted health system accounts using J&J approved resources related to EHR technologies to conduct EHR workflow assessments and educate health system accounts. This position will be responsible for directly engaging prioritized accounts within their regional geography. They will assist with the development of strategy, messaging, tools, & resources that support health system organizations’ population health goals. This position will work closely with the SCG Trade and Market Solutions, Franchise Marketing, and Key Account Management teams. The J&J IM Health IT Specialist will report directly into the Group Product Director, Health IT Solutions.
Responsibilities:
+ Work with account management teams and other cross-functional partners to gather customer insights and assess opportunities related to EHR workflows
+ Confidently engages customers in a field facing capacity conducting EHR workflow assessments and HCC/Legal/Reg approved materials/messaging.
+ Deliver workflow insights related to EHR objectives to key internal partners to help inform strategic decisions
+ Evolve future J&J IM Health IT Solutions strategy and executional plans aligned to overall medical and brand strategic plans
+ Provide feedback and support on targeting strategies, Key Performance Indicators for J&J IM Health IT Solutions team
+ Allocates time and prioritizes accounts in accordance to list of accounts in territory
+ Demonstrates effective use of CRM tool to manage territory schedule and call documentation
+ Effectively assist through training and communication account managers on EHR programs and resources and provide support
+ Completes all reports and written assignments in a timely, accurate and thorough manner
+ Stays current in clinical developments related to specific disease state and IT
+ 30-40% of travel may be required
The Health IT Specialist team was established to conduct EHR workflow assessments and educate accounts using approved materials related to Electronic Health Records (EHR). Health IT Specialist will support J&J Health IT Solutions team using approved above brand materials. Any decisions about or changes to the health system’s EHR or workflow will be made independently by the customer, NOT the Health IT Specialist.
Health IT Specialist will not detail clinical information or engage in product promotion, as they are not a sales resource or an extension of the salesforce. The Health IT Specialists’ performance is not measured or compensated by NBRx/PDOT, any patient adherence, sales, or adherence metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
+ Minimum of 4 years working for health care technology company (Epic, Cerner, Medi tech, etc.), and/or within a Health System informatics group or team at leadership level, or similar role within a pharmaceutical company
+ In depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology and EHR workflows
+ A valid driver’s license within the 50 United States is required
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Relevant therapeutic area experience (Neuroscience, Immunology, and / or Oncology)
+ Ability to act with a sense of accountability and urgency
+ Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
+ Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work within a matrixed organization
+ Demonstrated ability to incorporate knowledge of the market and competitive landscape into executable plans

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$100,000-$172,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
