Health And Safety Manager
**Job Title: Health and Safety Manager** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with safety regulations and lead emergency response efforts at various environmental and remediation sites. **Responsibilities** + Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and other applicable regulations. + Develop, implement, and maintain the Site Health and Safety Plan (HASP) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP). + Lead emergency response efforts including chemical spills, fires, and medical emergencies. + Serve as Incident Commander or Safety Officer during emergency events. + Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). + Deliver HAZWOPER and emergency response training to site personnel. + Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. + Maintain accurate safety records and report performance metrics. + Collaborate with site supervisors, contractors, and regulatory agencies. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience in health and safety in environmental and/or remediation. + Proficiency with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 regulations. + Experience in developing and implementing Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Emergency Response Plans (ERP). + Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations. + Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. + Experience in nuclear power and electrical environments. + Knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS), National Incident Management System (NIMS), Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), HAZWOPER, Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), and Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS). **Why Work Here?** Join the largest environmental company in the world and contribute to saving the planet, one remediation site at a time. Future assignments may include various locations such as nuclear power sites. Expect a dynamic work environment with opportunities to work on diverse projects across the West Coast. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
