Description
We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator to oversee and champion Environmental compliance within our organization. This role requires a proactive leader who can implement and monitor initiatives to ensure adherence to regulations while fostering a culture of safety. Join our team in Centerville, Louisiana, and contribute to creating a secure and sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure Environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular Environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate training programs to educate employees on safety standards and environmental practices.
• Monitor workplace conditions and address any hazards or non-compliance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and environmental compliance for review by leadership.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage safety-related documentation and maintain accurate records of inspections and incidents.
• Assist in the development of emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure readiness.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in plant supervisory roles, preferably within large organizations.
• Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver and other relevant systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports effectively.
• Proven track record in managing workplace safety and implementing successful initiatives.
• Familiarity with emergency response planning and risk assessment processes.
