Responsibilities:
Enhance, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide HS&E audit programBuild and manage annual audit schedules in alignment with organizational priorities and riskConduct audits using standardized tools and methodologies to assess HS&E program effectivenessPrepare clear, concise audit reports with findings, recommendations, and risk assessmentsMonitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely and effective resolutionAnalyze audit data and trends to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvementProvide expert advice to stakeholders on audit results, compliance, and risk mitigation strategiesSupport and lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planningCollaborate with site HS&E professionals and operational leaders to ensure consistent execution across business unitsContribute to the development and enhancement of audit tools, frameworks, and enterprise HS&E strategyRequirements:
College Degree or Diploma in Health, Safety & Environmental6 years of progressive HS&E experience in the construction industryProven experience in HS&E auditing, preferably in a large or multi-site organizationPreference to candidates who hold a professional certification in Health, Safety & Environment (such as CRSP or CHSMSA), as well as COR and/or ISO auditor certificationStrong understanding of HS&E legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practicesExceptional analytical, reporting, and communication skillsAbility to influence, lead changes, and build strong cross-functional relationshipsExperience leading audits, investigations, and driving systemic improvementsProven leadership in developing and enhancing HS&E processes and mentoring team membersAbility to work independently and be part of a cross-functional team environmentExpertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)Work Conditions
