As the HS&E Coordinator reporting to the Manager, HS&E, you will be responsible for applying core Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) practices on project sites. You will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HS&E programs to ensure regulatory compliance and support a safe working environment. In this role, you will handle routine assignments and apply your professional judgment while working under direct guidance and mentorship, giving you the opportunity to grow and contribute meaningfully to the team.

Essential Responsibilities:

Apply HS&E tools, requirements, and procedures to project or worksite activities, while supporting the development and improvement of these processes based on lessons learned, feedback, and emerging trends

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and corrective actions taken to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Collect HS&E data related to incidents, inspections, and audits to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement

Administer documentation related to HS&E activities, including incident reports, inspection results, training records, and permits, and prepare regular reports on safety performance indicators and trends for communication with stakeholders

Support the manager in conducting hazard assessments, inspections, and quality audits to ensure alignment with HS&E plan requirements

Participate in the incident investigation process, including the preparation of incident notifications and related documentation

Qualifications:

One or more years of relevant HS&E, trade, or industry experience

Basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs, policies, and requirements

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, and an aptitude for learning various computer software systems

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Attention to detail with accurate proofreading and editing skills

Work Conditions:

Position is office based - travel (50%) to various work sites and project locations will be required
