Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to ensure the effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at our Naucalpan facility. This role requires a mastery of HSE technologies, as well as the ability to provide expert support for site HSE issues, engineering projects, and initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable legal obligations, developing training programs, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
The HSE Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal obligations related to health, safety, and the environment at the Naucalpan plant. This includes developing and implementing HSE standards and protocols, establishing an auditing process to ensure the ongoing maintenance of systems, and providing coaching and support to various departments to promote continuous improvement and ensure a safe working environment.
Additionally, the candidate will design and deploy training programs based on legal requirements and current regulations, ensuring that all employees are informed about safety practices. They will also collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to address HSE issues and contribute to HSE governance within the organization.
Job Qualifications
Availability to work at Naucalpan
Graduated from Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Sustainability.
5 years of experienced in similar roles
Proficiency in English (B2 minmum)
Hard Skills:
Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in using tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of HSE Regulations and Standards: Familiarity with laws and regulations related to safety and the environment.
Experience in HSE Audits: Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with standards.
Soft Skills:
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with different departments.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address issues effectively.
Proactive Approach: A proactive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in a team environment and foster a spirit of cooperation.
