We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Headteacher to lead our school into its next phase of growth and development. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a specialist provision and make a lasting impact on the lives of pupils with autism spectrum conditions and associated learning needs.

As Headteacher, you will:

Provide visionary leadership and uphold the school’s ethos of compassion, inclusion, and high expectationsLead and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementEnsure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and safeguardingWork closely with families, external professionals, and the wider community to support holistic outcomes for pupilsDrive innovation in curriculum design and therapeutic approaches tailored to ASCMaintain compliance with independent school standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g. Ofsted, Independent School Standards, SEND Code of Practice)

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher with substantial leadership experience in a special school or SEN settingPassionate about inclusive education and experienced in working with children with ASCA confident communicator and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SEND legislationCommitted to building a positive, trauma-informed school cultureSkilled in managing resources, staff development, and school improvement planning
