Job description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Waiter to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Head Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and inspiring our wait staff.

Lead by example, prioritizing memorable guest experiences and motivating team membersOversee and coordinate the daily operations of the dining areaAct as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen, handling requests and inquiries from guests and staffManage reservations, seating arrangements, and special eventsTrain and mentor new wait staff, ensuring adherence to service standardsHandle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionallyMaintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairingsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsAssist in inventory management and cost control measuresContribute to the development of new service procedures and standardsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a busy restaurant or upscale dining establishmentProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable dining experiencesDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility and adaptability to changing situations and guest needsProficiency in basic computer skills, including POS systems and reservation management softwareKnowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquetteAbility to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitudeTeam player with a supportive and collaborative approachFamiliarity with local cuisine and customs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (preferred)Food safety certification (preferred)Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusAdditional information
