Head of Vehicle Dynamics Performance Integration (Sports car)

Responsibilities:
1. Representing vehicle dynamics functionality and performance in the vehicle integration engineering team, including coordinating feedback and information presentation in project meetings and node reviews.
2. Summarize technical issues related to vehicle dynamics performance and propose solutions to the chief engineer for final decision-making, coordinate performance and component teams, balance management performance goals, vehicle design, cost, and weight.
3. Ensure that the key performance and requirements of vehicle dynamics attributes are defined, develop a control checklist, and have the corresponding performance team control and maintain it. During the process, it is necessary to ensure that the vehicle design engineers of the packaging team participate together
4. Manage various performance teams, define and set subjective and objective attribute goals based on the vehicle conveyed by the chief engineer.
5. Support the validation of performance projects, ensuring time and project milestone goals through goal setting, simulation, correlation and physical development, confirmation and final acceptance
6. Collaborate with the performance team to ensure that all CAE load cases meet the required performance goals, use appropriate boundary conditions, and represent the latest valid simulation data and best practice methods and material properties.
7. Update and report on DVP maturity and testing progress status at weekly performance meetings, project reviews, and milestone reporting meetings,
8. Support vehicle testing, fault investigation and containment, as well as countermeasures for vehicle validation issues as needed.
9. Support the planning and execution of driving activities at testing sites as needed.
10. Lead and coordinate all vehicle dynamics team meetings as needed

Qualifications:
1. Experience in directly or indirectly leading teams in the automotive industry.
2. Experience in automotive product development or project leadership, particularly in performance cars and/or racing projects in the field of automotive dynamics.
3. Experience in working with large quantities and special versions of vehicles (low volume, profitable).
4. Relevant or transferable experience in vehicle testing, validation, and performance development in the performance car or motorsport industry.
5. Deep technical understanding and ability to comprehend a wide range of vehicle technologies and performance attributes.
6. Knowledge of relevant product engineering simulation and analysis tools and processes.
7. Ability to demonstrate the ability to explain, inquire, and analyze complex data, create clear and concise summaries, and provide recommendations to leadership as needed.
