The Head of Value for Healthcare Systems and Economics is a critical leadership role responsible for executing Sanofi's global strategy for health economics, value access, and market access across the portfolio. This includes the integration of evidence-based insights into Business Operations, supporting Market Access and HEVA teams in the GBUs for optimal access, reimbursement, and value communication for pipeline and marketed products. The incumbent will lead a team of more than 100 people and work closely with cross-functional teams within the Medical tower in BO, collaborating with internal stakeholders to influence policy, payer engagement, and real-world impact.

**Main Responsibilities:**
**Strategic Leadership & Vision**
+ Define and lead the Business Operations Value for Healthcare Systems and Economics team across therapeutic areas.
+ Transform traditional business operations Health Economics teams into agile, business-aligned value access teams.
+ Execute innovative approaches to value demonstration, including Bayesian adaptive trials, implementation science, and value-based contracting.
**Evidence Generation & Value Communication**
+ Provide input in the design and oversee the execution of health economic models, cost-effectiveness analyses, and real-world impact assessments.
+ Lead the development of payer communication materials/narratives and value dossiers for global and local markets.
+ Work closely and support GBUs to anticipate and proactively address HTA and ICER challenges through robust evidence planning.
**Market Access & Pricing**
+ Support the GBUs to develop and implement global and local market access activities/materials (eg: value dossiers) throughout product lifecycles.
+ Deliver pricing models and scenarios for pipeline and inline products, ensuring consistency with global pricing policies and strategy.
+ Collaborate with country teams to adapt and execute global access strategies locally.
**Execution Focus**
+ Oversee and optimize Medical Business Operations resource allocation for HEVA and Market Access initiatives.
+ Ensure efficient resource utilization and drive cost-effective strategies within BO.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**
+ Support Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial teams with regards to HEVA and Market Access activities and considerations into product development and lifecycle management.
+ Support Marlet Access teams on early input into global evidence plans to optimize market access and pricing strategies.
**Team Leadership & Capability Building**
+ Build, scale, and upskill large scientific teams across BO Medical for Pragmatic Evidence, Implementation Science, Epidemiology, and Healthcare Value.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, learning agility, and high performance.
+ Lead change management initiatives to align Value for Healthcare Systems and Economics with evolving business needs.
**Travel:** 30%+ (Includes travel to Europe and India)
**About You**
**Qualifications:**
+ Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field. MBA or advanced business training preferred.
+ 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on HEOR, Market Access, and pricing strategies.
+ Proven success in leading HEOR/RWE teams and integrating value access into business operations.
+ Expert knowledge of global and local market access environments, HTA bodies, and regulatory expectations.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, and pricing models.
+ Experience with payer negotiations, HTA submissions, and value-based agreements.

The salary range for this position is:
$232,500.00 - $335,833.33
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
