Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as requiredResponsible for the strategic direction, governance and oversight of fraud analytics programs in the USPerforms and oversees risk reviews and credible challenge of the adequacy and effectiveness of fraud models, tooling, rules, and strategiesOversees and challenges external fraud and insider threat detection capabilities with also understanding IT, cybersecurity, and HR teamsPartners with model risk managementEnsures adequacy, effectiveness, and alignment with risk appetiteChampions the use of machine learning, advanced statistics, and data science techniques to optimize the trade-offs between fraud detection, customer experience, and operational efficiencyProvides strategic challenge of fraud prevention and detection strategies across the customer lifecycle, including onboarding/acquisition, authentication, and transaction monitoringEngages with and influence senior stakeholders through clear communication and compelling data-driven narrativesDemonstrates strong knowledge and oversight of both proprietary (homegrown) and vendor fraud tools and solutionsResponsible for building a team of fraud analytics professionals and developing them to deliver high-impact results across TD’s businessesOn a regular basis, or as needed, reports updates on to designated risk committeesEducation & Experience:
