As the Head of Surveillance Technology, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced surveillance solutions, focusing on both electronic communication and trade surveillance. You will design and optimise technology architecture, integrating in-house systems with vendor platforms to deliver secure and scalable outcomes. Your expertise will guide the team in building systems capable of managing large-scale, high-frequency data while maintaining accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, translating their requirements into robust technical solutions. Mentoring and supporting a diverse team, you will foster best practices in architecture, coding, and deployment. You will also drive continuous improvement, ensuring our surveillance technology remains at the forefront of industry standards. What you offer

Proven experience leading technology teams, preferably within financial services or risk management, with a strong understanding of surveillance concepts and regulatory requirementsAdvanced knowledge of cloud services, especially AWS, and experience integrating vendor SaaS solutions with in-house technologiesPractical expertise in big data technologies and data transformation tools, with a track record of designing scalable and high-performance systemsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to continuous learning and professional development, with an inclusive approach that values diverse perspectives and creates space for everyone to succeed.
