Job Description
The Head of Strategy & Transformation plays a critical role in shaping and executing our affiliate’s strategic vision. You will be responsible for leading the ANZ Leadership Team’s development and implementation of affiliate strategy, as well as leading key projects crucial to the transformation of the ANZ business. As the custodian of our affiliate’s strategic planning, the role requires relentless searching for opportunities to enhance organisational effectiveness, drive innovation, and supporting mid-to-long term growth. Crucial to our success is our drive for excellence through a holistic and customer-centric approach for the business, and ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything we do.

NOTE: This is a 12 month Max Term contract opportunity. There is limited National and International travel to support delivery of this role.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision that aligns with the company's mission and objectives.
+ Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic priorities and identify growth opportunities based on environmental and market scanning and trend assessment.
+ Direct the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives that foster innovation and competitive advantage including providing recommendations on resourcing and implementation.
+ Lead and manage transformative projects, generated locally or by global teams that optimise business processes and improve operational efficiency.
+ Drive cultural change initiatives to promote agility and collaboration within the organisation.
+ Oversee the integration of new business models and technologies to enhance performance and adaptability.
+ Develop and lead the integrated Brand Planning process for our affiliate including overseeing our launch capability to support the best possible strategies for our core brands.
+ Support the Australia Management Team to enhance our culture of innovation through the sponsorship of the Innovation Special Interest group including manage the resources, initiatives, and funding process with innovation.
+ Ensure continuous improvement of innovation processes, tools and approaches and that Insights, learnings and impacts are proactively shared and sought
+ Represent the company in public forums, industry conferences, and events to promote thought leadership & Innovation where required.
+ Utilise PMO to manage and monitor progress and identify risk to the achievement of the affiliate strategy.
+ Oversee the affiliate PMO including leadership of the Program and Change Manager.
+ Custodian of Change Management function within the organization to ensure consistent application of ADKAR model to capability uplift, transformational initiatives and projects across the affiliate.
+ Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie’s policies and procedures.
+ Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times
+ Adhere to AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
+ Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
Qualifications
+ Advanced degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
+ Proven track record of success in strategic planning and transformation roles (preferably in a regulated market).
+ Senior Commercial leadership background favourable but not essential.
+ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
+ Knowledge of Change Management principles
+ Measures to assess progress and identify areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across complex organizations.
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on strategic thinking.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams
