Head of Strategy and Client Service, Health Solutions
We’re hiring! Aon Vietnam is currently recruiting Head of Strategy and Client Delivery , Health Solutions to join our team in Hochiminh. What the day will look like The Head of Strategy and Client Delivery , HS is responsible for developing and leading the execution of the business strategy for Health Solutions in the Vietnam, delivering for our clients, colleagues, shareholders and community. Primary responsibility is to cultivate relationships with clients. There has been a demand for strategic partnership in the market. The Head of Strategy and Client Delivery , HS will drive relationship with key decision makers (CEO, CFO, CHRO, Procurement) and will be responsible for managing the top 20 key accounts/clients of Health Solutions. Responsible for achieving the goals of the company by achieving the goals of the team including but not limited to revenue target, achieving the retention & rollover target, Client Survey score target, collection target, compliance to Aon Commitments, compliance to the Aon Brokers Guide, compliance to the renewal process, profitability, Employee Engagement, and other goals. Lead the development and implementation of the strategic direction of the business & share best practices, key findings and useful innovations with other practice leaders and peers in other countries around the world to ensure good ideas are propagated throughout the business. This is a substantial business management and people leadership role which also requires strong professional knowledge and experience in the discipline of Health Solutions . In addition to the business management requirements the position will also actively support the Health strategies of Aon Vietnam and be a thought leader for one or more of our service offerings. Key Responsibilities: Growth and Business Results + Directs the team with support by the other Leaders, by: + Defining the go-to-market strategy and main service offerings, aligning these with global and industry vertical strategies + Participating in local associations to maintain contacts in the community that lead to business opportunities. + Developing relationships with and making presentations at Aon Vietnam forums or third-party conferences + Maintaining positive relations with present and prior clients primarily via regular personal correspondence/visits + Participating in Aon United forums to leverage internal opportunities. + Retain and grow Aon’s business, cultivating relationships with C-suite and with key decision makers (CEO, CFO, CHRO, Procurement) in the client organization. Facilitate critical relationships between clients, Aon colleagues and carriers. + Support in prospecting and developing new opportunities for Aon, by effectively communicating the value that Aon delivers to clients across the pillars of Health Solutions . + Ensure overall account profitability with a value-based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the Client Plan. + Identify and develop large new market opportunities for Aon in the Vietnam. + In conjunction with relevant regional and local market stakeholders, assist with the ongoing development of our large market value proposition; look for opportunities to develop employee benefit and well-being solutions. Client Ownership + Ensure a strong Sales Plan and/or Client Plan is created that will align Aon to bring value that significantly contributes to clients achieving their goals and objectives. + Support and assist the Country Head and Health Solution teams to develop and manage the implementation of Client Plan, including a specific business plan to deliver year-on-year revenue growth. + Ensure client service team understanding of client needs, service delivery methods, and the economic framework relevant to services delivered. + Educate clients in risk management, risk transfer, market issues and relevant trends including appropriate data and analytics. Serve as a trusted business adviser on all pertinent issues; monitor client satisfaction; report and resolve client issues and concerns and review client expectations to ensure relationship is mutually acceptable and beneficial. + Marshal appropriate Aon resources to support clients in circumstances such as large claims, alternative risk products, etc. Operational Excellence + Understand and work in alignment with the Aon Model and its pillars of Create Client Value, Develop Teams, Enable Innovation and Deliver Business Results, Support Country Head to establish clear roles, responsibilities and performance expectations for client service teams that deliver Aon products and services to each client. Ensure that team members meet their responsibilities and seek changes in team composition as appropriate. Leadership + Build relationships with the leadership of Health Solutions, Wealth & Talent Solutions that facilitates and encourages collaboration and Aon United opportunities. + Leads the development and implementation of the strategic direction of the business. + The development of annual budget + The development and modification of 5-year strategic plan + Identifying and sponsoring tactical plans to improve service delivery and reduce costs (continuous improvement, generally 1–6-month timeframe) + Reporting on operational achievements/results versus budget in area of control. + Share best practices, key findings and useful innovations with other practice leaders and peers in other countries around the world to ensure good ideas are propagated throughout the business. + Leverages on the strengths of the team, talent development, and address the gaps in proficiency. + Manages the performance of the team and ensures all goals are achieved. + Provides structure and direction to facilitate the completion of team objectives. + Supports team to establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for their client service teams. + Demonstrates high ethical standards. + Holds oneself and others accountable for timely completion of compliance training. + Personally, embraces and supports change initiatives/efforts. Skills and Experience: Demonstrated Leadership qualities (team focused, provides direction, gives feedback, acts in the company’s best interests, ethical) Minimum of 20 years of relevant consulting experience in the industry. Excellent business development and client management skills. An effective communicator; both spoken and written. Excellent presentation skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
