Position Title: Head of Sales
Location: 100% Remote
Travel Requirement: Up to 75%
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $150,000 – $190,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Reporting Line: Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing; collaborates with executive leadership and C-level stakeholders
Position Overview
The Head of Sales will be responsible for expanding the national distributor network, strengthening relationships with existing partners, and identifying new business opportunities. This role will lead a small sales team (2 direct reports), work closely with marketing, and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the plumbing and wholesale distribution industry and a proven ability to drive product placement in retail stores and showrooms. Key targets include increasing purchase orders and securing new showroom placements through relationships with major retailers and distributors such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Hajoca, and others.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute strategic plans to grow national wholesale and distributor partnerships
+ Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve performance goals
+ Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives
+ Leverage industry relationships to open new sales channels and drive revenue growth
+ Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction
+ Analyze sales data to forecast trends, set targets, and optimize performance
+ Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
+ Minimum 10 years of wholesale sales experience, preferably in the plumbing industry
+ At least 8 years in management or leadership roles
+ Demonstrated success in building and scaling a national wholesale network
+ Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
+ Experience managing large wholesale accounts and cross-functional teams
+ Data-driven approach to forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
+ Ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
+ Willingness to travel up to 75% across North America
Preferred Experience
+ Sales leadership in plumbing or related industries
+ Distributor and showroom sales strategy
+ Cold calling, account management, and sales target execution
+ Familiarity with major retail and wholesale partners

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
