We’re looking for a specification sales leader from the building products industry — someone credible with architects, designers, builders, and installers, and experienced managing long-cycle residential and commercial projects.
This role requires hands-on experience selling installed, hardgoods or technical products within construction or outdoor building environments. Retail-only or non-spec sales backgrounds will not be considered.

Head of Sales – Canada responsibilities:Drive national sales and business development performance
Build, manage, and convert a specification-led project pipeline
Lead sales activity through architects, installers, and commercial end channels
Manage, coach, and develop a small regional sales team
Execute regional and national commercial sales strategies
Analyze market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
Identify and develop new business across residential and commercial projects
The successful candidate has:7+ years of sales or business development experience in specification-led building products
Proven experience working directly with architects and design professionals
Experience selling through installers and commercial end users
Strong commercial and business development mindset
Experience managing or mentoring a small team (1–3 people)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Based in Toronto
French fluency is an asset
Compensation and benefits:Base salary of $140,000–$150,000, plus commission
Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may be considered
