Company Description

COS offers a wardrobe of ready-to-wear and accessories rooted in exceptional quality and lasting design. The brand has an elevated aesthetic that embodies luxury with an emphasis on craftsmanship, innovation and compelling fashion movements

Job Description

As the Head of Retail Procurement/NCG at COS, you will define the long-term purchasing strategy that enables our elevated, on brand physical spaces worldwide. NCG includes all physical components required to build and operate our stores — such as fixtures and fittings, lighting, furniture, hangers, mannequins, POS and back-of-house equipment. Reporting to the Director of Growth, you will ensure all NCG delivery meets COS’s standards for quality, sustainability, and modern design.

You will lead a specialist team of eight direct reports, including Strategic Buyers, Tactical Buyers, NCG Coordinators, and Design Engineer, fostering strong capability and high performance. As an influential leader within the COS brand, you will help shape a world class global store concept and contribute to the brand’s ambition of becoming a power brand in accessible luxury, while ensuring all projects are delivered on time, in full, and within budget.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Define the long term NCG strategy, ensuring alignment with COS brand direction, Growth priorities, expansion plans, and retail format development. Set strategic priorities for materials, equipment, supplier portfolio, timelines, and cost frameworks to deliver consistent global brand experiences.  Lead the sustainability roadmap for all NCG categories, embedding sustainability into every strategic and operational decision.  Influence senior stakeholders—including the COS Board— to ensure NCG priorities are embedded into business cases, buying decisions, and timelines. Act as an influential leader within the Global Growth Leadership Team, reporting directly into the Director of Global Growth.  Lead, coach, and develop the NCG team, nurturing talent and building a resilient, high performing organization through strong, supportive leadership.  Provide strong, resilient leadership to guide a team creating a stable, energized, and high performing environment. Build a culture of proactive problem solving and solution orientation, enabling the team to navigate ambiguity and fast paced change confidently.  Develop and deliver COS’s next generation, worldclass store concept in close partnership with Store Design and Construction.  Establish and manage supplier performance dashboards with monthly OTIF, quality, and cost KPIs to drive accountability and improvement.  Lead the diversification and localization of the global supplier base to reduce dependency on individual suppliers, increase speed to market, and scale sustainably. Challenge existing assumptions and processes to drive continuous improvement across NCG and the wider Growth organization.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In this role, you will work closely with the Global Growth Leadership Team, Store Design, Construction & Facilities, Retail Expansion, Finance, Procurement, Sustainability, and regional NCG and Store Development teams across our global markets. You will also collaborate with a wide network of external suppliers and partners, ensuring alignment, transparency, and seamless delivery across all NCG categories and projects.

You will act as the central connector between COS Brand and H&M Group partners across a complex matrix of stakeholders.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

Extensive experience in NCG procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or store development. Proven track record in leading strategic transformation across complex, global organizations. Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cost frameworks, supplier management, and quality assurance. Senior stakeholder management experience, including executive level influencing. Experience driving sustainability outcomes within procurement or supply chains. Experience building new store concepts, processes, or supply models — not only maintaining existing ones. Experience diversifying and localizing supplier markets across regions (APAC, EMEA, Americas).

And people who are…

Inspirational leaders with strong people's first mindset. Strategic thinkers with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Exceptional communicators with strong presentation and influencing skills. Collaborative, transparent, and inclusive in their working style. Curious, solution oriented, and comfortable challenging the status quo. Highly resilient, able to lead through ambiguity, fast pace, and organizational transformation. Energized by building — not maintaining — and motivated by contributing to the creation of a global power brand.
