About the Job
The Head of Regional and Account Strategy, Tzield is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the Tzield Regional Strategy and Account Directors, and is part of the US Tzield Leadership team. This role is accountable for overseeing all SAM initiatives, including account mapping, best practice sharing and complex stakeholder engagement. It leads the strategies focused on appropriately supporting large, integrated systems in their efforts to optimize the end-to-end patient Tzield journey with the purpose of ensuring appropriate access to this important medication. Reporting directly into the US Head of T1D, this role is a non-promotional role and works in close partnership with teams across medical, marketing, market access, account management, and the field to support the execution of regional strategies.

Main Responsibilities
Leads and manages the team of Regional Strategy and Account Directors, ensuring strategic clarity, operational discipline, and high performance across regions
Serves as the primary interface to senior leadership, clearly articulating regional strategies, field insights, and their implications for brand priorities
Ensures strong alignment with matrix leadership across Marketing, Medical, Market Access, CPE, and Field Leadership to enable integrated planning and execution, where appropriate of both regional and national objectives within each function’s remit
Coaches the Regional Strategy and Account Directors and fosters a culture of strategic ownership, accountability, and executional excellence
Sets clear expectations for market planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive consistent delivery of the Tzield strategy across key systems and geographies
Reviews and finalizes performance reports and all deliverables intended for Global or Senior Leadership audiences
Leads prioritization, coordination, and project management of multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring knowledge sharing and alignment across cross-functional partners
Ensures flawless execution of key initiatives and alignment with evolving commercial and sales strategies
About You
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in therapeutic areas such as Type 1 Diabetes, rare disease, or specialty care
At least 10 years of experience in sales leadership and/or broader commercial leadership roles (e.g., marketing, market access)
Proven experience leading in complex networks, including integrated delivery systems and environments requiring matrix coordination
At least 5 years of experience in account-based commercial models with demonstrated strength in strategic account management
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across senior audiences, both US and global
Demonstrated success in launching products within specialty care, rare disease, or the Type 1 Diabetes market
Strong leadership capabilities with proven analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Highly effective at collaborating across cross-functional teams and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience managing in a matrixed organization, influencing across functions without direct line authority
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Have a valid driver’s license

The salary range for this position is:
$258,750.00 - $373,750.00All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
