Why We Have This Role

\n

We need a dedicated Project Management Lead and team to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of strategic product roadmap features within our fast-paced Product, UX, and Engineering (PXE) organization. This role is a critical leadership role that will build a team to optimize cross-functional collaboration and proactively manage risks across complex engineering initiatives, ultimately driving predictable outcomes and strategic business growth.

How You’ll Grow

\n\nYou’ll build a new capability within Qualtrics\nLeverage Qualtrics' rich data platform to define, track, and measure key product performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.\nWork with product analytics teams to transform data insights into actionable recommendations that guide product strategy and operational improvements.\nProvide visibility into product performance to key stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and rapid iteration.\nEnhance strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities through data-driven initiatives.\nBuild a network with senior stakeholders and industry leaders, expanding professional connections.\nParticipate in high-level strategic discussions, influencing the company’s overall direction.\n\n

Things You’ll Do

\n\nProject Portfolio Leadership:
Own the project portfolio for the highest priority product roadmap initiatives \nTeam Leadership & Development:
Build and lead a high-performing team of technical project managers; mentor, coach, and develop talent.\nProcess & Governance:
Define and scale agile/hybrid delivery frameworks tailored to a fast-paced SaaS environment. Establish PMO operating cadence including sprint planning, roadmap reviews, retrospectives, and risk assessments.\nCross-Functional Execution:
Partner with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Customer Success teams to align priorities, track milestones, and remove blockers.\nMetrics & Reporting:\nProvide regular portfolio reporting. Partner with engineering operations to define and operationalize scrum level reporting needs to support data driven progress reporting.\nRisk & Change Management:
Proactively identify project risks and dependencies, drive mitigation plans, and manage scope changes with clear stakeholder engagement.\nStrategic Planning:
Align project resources to strategic priorities\n\n \n

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

\n\n10+ years of experience in technical project or program management, with at least 5 years in a SaaS environment.\n5+ years of experience leading teams, including managers or senior ICs.\nDeep understanding of modern software development life cycles (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and how to adapt practices at scale.\nProven experience managing large cross-functional programs involving engineering, product, security, and infrastructure teams.\nStrong technical fluency—you can engage credibly with engineers on architecture, APIs, and technical trade-offs.\nDemonstrated success in building and scaling PMO practices in high-growth or scaling environments.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or PMP/SAFe certification is a plus.\nExperience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Aha!\nExperience leading globally distributed teams\nBackground in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nExperience supporting InfoSec, compliance, or regulatory-driven SaaS platforms (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)\n\n \n

\n\nThis is a newly formed capability within a centralized PMO at Qualtrics. \nLeadership role overseeing all product functions including Product Management, Engineering, UX, and Product Marketing.\nIntegral part of the Product Unit (PU) leadership team, jointly accountable for the portfolio of products at Qualtrics.\nHigh influence on both product and business strategy, shaping the future direction of the EX offerings.\nFocused on enhancing digital interactions, acknowledging the vast potential and challenges inherent in digital customer engagement\n\n

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered within this range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability, 401(k) with match, paid time off, a wellness reimbursement, mental health benefits, and an experience bonus.
