The **Head of Procurement (f/m/d)** is responsible for leading the local procurement organization within an international IT services company. This role ensures efficient and compliant purchasing operations while driving strategic initiatives to align local procurement with the global organization. The position plays a key role in harmonizing procurement processes, IT systems, and supplier management across the DACH region, contributing directly to the company’s overall performance and value creation. **Key Responsibilities:** Leadership & Management: · Lead and develop the local procurement team in DACH across the legal entities, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. · Manage day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and value for money. Strategic Alignment & Integration: · Ensure seamless integration of the local procurement function into the European and global procurement organization. · Implement global sourcing strategies, policies, and standards at the local level. · Act as a key liaison between local management and the European and Global procurement leadership team. Process & System Harmonization: · Contribute actively to the global harmonization of procurement processes, tools, and IT systems in the DACH region. · Support digital transformation initiatives in procurement, ensuring alignment with global system architectures and processes. · Raise synergies on subregional level across the different legal entities Value Creation & Performance Management: · Develop and implement category strategies to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and reduce operational risks. · Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness and contribution to business success. · Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement’s contribution to project delivery and profitability.
