Role Overview:

 

This is a new role to be located in Ghana (Accra) with our long term partner an Israeli based international construction group that is market leader in Ghana with the country most important construction projects (airport, hospitals, residential compounds, highways, tunnels etc).

 

They need a person to be responsible for all plumbing teams within the company, managing all related procurement, and providing professional guidance to project managers and field teams.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Sourcing: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all plumbing materials (most suppliers are Israeli);

Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM), cost estimates and bids, based on plans and blueprints.

Expert Consultation: Act as the primary technical advisor for Project Managers, Site Superintendents and Engineers. Blueprint Analysis: Review and approve plumbing plans. Troubleshooting: Provide advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting for complex plumbing systems and issues on-site.

 

Candidate Requirements:

Relevant university technical degree  (material science) Specific Training Areas: Specialized studies in HVAC, pipe fitting, and plumbing technology. Min 5 years of managing plumbing teams, with a strong, direct experience their related buying activities (manage supplier terms, prepare bids etc) English fluent Availability to relocate on Employment contract for min 2 years
