Location: Groningen

Pharma Services: Our clients benefit from a powerful drug development platform featuring state-of-the-art technologies, including single-use bioreactors.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Empower teams to plan, develop, and complete clinical and commercial manufacturing processes.

·       Support clients in bringing new treatments to patients.

·       Ensure quality and quantity in manufacturing processes.

·       Lead change management activities, fostering transparency and trust.

·       Manage resources, including people, equipment, facilities, systems, and support.

·       Oversee talent journey, including hiring, performance, budget, wellbeing, and development.

·       Establish annual planning, ensuring departments stay on track and objectives are met.

·       Collaborate with colleagues and clients worldwide.

·       Align with other Thermo Fisher sites globally.

·       Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. EMA/FDA guidelines).

·       Serve as a member of the site leadership team to drive strategy and long-term plan.

·       Report to the General Manager.

Qualifications:

·       MSc. Degree.

·       5-10 years of leadership experience in cGMP and biologics manufacturing.

·       Fluent in English, both oral and written.

·       Proven ability to lead and direct others towards acceptance of new business ideas and practices.

·       Effective and energetic leader with experience in developing teams in regulated, fast-paced environments.

·       Excellent communication skills, client-facing and capable of influencing peers.

·       Experience in safety management.

·       Familiar with operational excellence, preferably a black belt.
