Position: Head of Ocean Freight

Location: G Tower, Rama 9, Bangkok

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Oversee, manage and grow daily operations in the Ocean Freight to ensure compliance with company standards and policies as well as company strategy, optimizing resources and maximizing profitability.Monitor and drive Ocean Freight team performance to achieve IKOs/KPIs and operational excellence.Review and report Ocean Freight operational results, and challenges to management team.Identify issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.Besides acting as a coach but also join with the Commercial team on their meeting with customers for the thorough understanding, on the performances and requirements based on customers’ expectation.Manage FTE against actual jobs file to ensure productivity and profitability.   

Qualification: 

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or Ocean Freight operations, with at least 5 experiences with a proven track record in people management roleStrong knowledge of Import/Export processes, and operational compliance.Ability to represent the team at senior management level and work cross-functionally with multiple departments.Minimum 3 years Customer Relationship Management backgroundRelevant experience in Sales and business developmentProficient decision-making skills
