The Head of Americas Partner Marketing at AWS leads the organization responsible for partner marketing strategy and execution across the U.S. and Canada. This role develops and executes strategic, data-driven marketing programs with and through partners to drive demand and revenue, managing partner coverage, joint marketing plans, MDF planning and approval processes, and both partner-led and AWS-led demand generation programs. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience building large, complex teams that execute demand generation activities, with strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, deep understanding of the marketing mix, and proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and own the North America partner marketing plan including partner coverage, AWS-led demand generation, MDF planning, and partner-led demand generation
• Hire and develop a team of partner marketing professionals that plan and deliver partner demand generation programs including integrated campaigns, digital marketing, webinars, and events
• Partner closely with field marketing to ensure a unified marketing strategy across the Geo- specifically the development of account based marketing programs and strategies with partners
• Work closely with North America partner sales leaders and sales leaders to develop regional priorities and execute plans to drive partner marketing generated opportunities and pipeline
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with extended marketing teams (Digital Marketing, Paid Media, Global Campaigns) to execute partner-led campaigns and events
• Work with global and regional teams to share best practices and ensure alignment across different marketing efforts
